The first trailer for “Jurassic World: Dominion” gives “Jurassic Park” fans a glimpse of the iconic dinosaur gang — played by Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill — joining forces with trainer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and theme park owner Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) to save the world… again. “Dominion” premieres in theaters June 10. Set four years after the events of 2018’s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” the sixth installment in the “Jurassic” franchise shows the perils of wrangling genetically engineered dinosaurs that have since been let loose on the world....

As IndieWire reported last month, Scorsese kicked off filming “Killers of the Flower Moon” on April 19 in Oklahoma. Cameras were originally set to begin rolling on the movie in March 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic delayed production indefinitely. The film is the latest collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio, who appeared in “The Aviator,” “Gangs of New York,” “Shutter Island,” “The Departed,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.” DiCaprio was Oscar nominated for “The Aviator” and “The Wolf of Wall Street....

During a 2021 oral history in honor of the film’s 20th anniversary, actress Jessica Cauffiel who played Elle’s best friend Margot told The New York Times that Elle and Vivian (Blair) ended up together, with romantic connotations. “The first ending was Elle and Vivian in Hawaii in beach chairs, drinking margaritas and holding hands,” Cauffiel explained. “The insinuation was either they were best friends or they had gotten together romantically....

The trailer indicates that Victor’s parents will take some time accepting his sexuality, while he also navigates straight jock locker room discomfort and wanting to be liked by his new boyfriend Benji’s (George Sear) crew of out gay friends....

It explores deafness as the contrast between sound and vibration, and the sound team created a visceral soundscape with the use of multi-directional mics, underwater mics, and even mics placed on the actor’s skull to capture the sound of his eyelids....

It’s a tale as old as time: a seemingly regular gal is unexpectedly swept away to an idyllic European locale, where she indulges in food, fun, and the affection of a tasty new companion, a delight for the senses that reinforces just how undesirable her current life is. When Amber (Alison Brie), the manager of a Bakersfield location of Tuscan Grove — essentially an Olive Garden knock-off, all forced familial cheer and industrial-sized bags of Alfredo sauce — gets picked for just such a trip in Jeff Baena’s off-kilter fish-out-of-water comedy “Spin Me Round,” what’s to come is expected....
