Your favorite coverall-wearing, masked murderer sets out on another gruesome stabbing spree in “Halloween Kills.” The latest installment to the slasher film franchise arrived in theaters and on Peacock on Friday. Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, and Anthony Michael Hall star in the horror movie directed by David Gordon Green. There’s nothing like a slasher flick to get you in the spirit of Halloween, and if you’re a fan of the previous “Halloween” movies, then you might just enjoy Laurie Strode’s (Curtis) fresh attempt at killing her lifelong tormentor. The story picks up minutes after Laurie, her daughter Karen (Greer), and granddaughter Allyson (Matichak) left Michael Myers to burn in Laurie’s basement after the events of the 2018 “Hallooween.” He manages to survive and, predictably enough, resumes the bloody massacre. Meanwhile, the Strode women and other survivors of Michael Myers’ grisly crimes form a vigilante mob to take him down.
